what is a past life regression?

A past life regression is a safe, relaxing experience, where you are always under your own control. It is very much like a guided meditation. I will guide you into a state of relaxation where we will access the knowledge of your higher self. Your higher self will show you the most appropriate past life to see, which is always relevant to your current life.

The information that you receive during a past life regression will bring you great insight and understanding with respect to your current life circumstances, and it will help you decide what steps to take next. You will learn lessons from lives you once lived, and clear and release karmic patterns that are no longer serving you.

At the end of the past life regression we connect your higher self directly, to get answers to life questions you have. Your higher self has your purpose and well-being as its priority, and therefore provides the most powerful, and valuable information. 

the session structure:

My 1:1 Past Life Regressions take anywhere from 5 to 6 hours (sometimes even longer). The technique I use for my past life regressions is called Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT). I do these sessions only in person.

My sessions consist of three different parts. In the first part of the session you and I will simply sit down and go over your current life. From the beginning up till now so I know what’s going on and I know what’s important to you.

The second part, is the actual past life regression part. You will close your eyes and I will guide you to re-experience a past life or multiple. You will be the one experiencing it. I’m only asking open-ended questions. For some people this is a very visual experience and for others it’s more a sense of knowing or feeling. But for most it’s also an emotional experience, since you’re being reunited with emotionally charged moments from a past lifetime.

And then there is the last part of the session, this is the part when I call forward your Higher Self to speak directly through you. You basically lend your voice to your own higher self. The Higher Self is not separate of us, it’s the deepest essence of what we are. And we are always in connection with this part. But due to our external focus in our everyday life, this connection tends to get more and more subtle. In the regression we can focus in on this part of you and we get to ask it whatever questions you have in mind. So I always ask my clients to create a list of questions that they would like me to ask their higher self. Anything is possible in this part of the session, much information can come through but also any healing or releasing can happen. So think outside of the box and truly ask the questions that matter most in your life.

I always book my 1:1 past life regressions in the early morning so hunger won’t be obstructing the session. You can book with me from Monday till Friday. The session can be conducted in English or in Dutch.

Most of the time, people remember much of their session when they ‘wake up.’ However, since there is a chance you may not recall all parts of your hypnosis session, it will be recorded and sent to you via email afterwards. I always recommend people to listen back to their recording at leats a couple of times because this is where you will actually absorb most information from your session.

Part I

This is where we will sit down and simply talk about your current life, what is going on, and what is important to you. So I know what questions to ask when we go into the session.

Part II & III

And this is where the actual past life regression session takes place. You will lay down on the bed, close your eyes. Your body will come to a deep relaxation and I will guide you to open doors inside you didn’t know existed.

How to best prepare for my session

The regression is booked, and now what? Really the most important way to prepare for your session is to have your list of questions for your Higher Self ready. I recommend you to start working on your list as soon as you have booked your appointment. Perhaps tomorrow you are not even thinking of your questions and all of a sudden a completely new topic will come into your awareness. Your Higher Self will likely inspire you along the way, so the more space you create for that the better.

It’s best to come with an open mind and to have no expectations. Feel curious and remember too, that it’s actually really fun to do a regression :)

Question List

Prepare a list of max 12 questions you would like your Higher Self to answer. The best thing is to start working away at your list right after booking your session. Once you have made the decision to have a past life regression, your Higher Self begins preparing you. Ideas for questions will all of a sudden start popping into your head.

Eat Breakfast

It might sound silly, but it’s actually quite important. The session could go up to 6 hours (sometimes even longer), and we don’t want hunger to obstruct the session. So have a nice breakfast before your session to make sure that you are good to go.

Limit Caffeine

Limit your use of caffeine the day of your session. The goal is to go into wonderful state of deep relaxation. You can either half your regular caffeine intake or simply skip it for the day off.

Set Your Intention

Your intention prior to the session matters. Energy goes where we tell it to go, and so we can pre-pave our future experiences. You can simply state your intention the day of or prior of your past life regression or you can write it down somewhere.

No Alcohol & Recreational Drugs

The night before, and the day of your session, don’t drink alcohol and also don’t take any recreational drugs. It’s not hard for us in our natural state to reach the place where we get to experience past lives, it quite natural for us to get to those places. Any alcohol or drugs might obstruct it and interfere with our interpretations of the session. Also don’t take any pills to relax you prior. This may jeopardise the success of the session.

Arrive in Berlin the Night Before

In case you are from out of town, or out of country, it is best to arrive in Berlin the night (or more than one night) prior to our session. Since I conduct my regressions in the morning, having to travel to Berlin on the day of the session might be a stressful experience. It is the best if you do not have to worry about trains, traffic or transfers but can simply focus on the session ahead.

What To Wear

Since you will be lying down for a couple of hours, you should wear comfortable, light, loose-fitting clothes that won’t constrict your circulation, or over-heat you while you’re lying under a blanket. If you like you can also bring a change of clothes. You can change before or after the session.

Bring a Snack

Bring a snack with you, that you can eat on your way home after the session. Eating something will help you ground and come back to this world, as many people feel light headed after the session.

No Expectation

Each regression is totally unique and therefore it’s best to have no expectations whatsoever. Expectations can limit the possibilities of what might happen in the regression. Instead be a blanc state and allow your curiosity to explore these exciting new realms. Your higher self will show you exactly what you need to know, so be open to learn.

Relax or Meditate

If you meditate, do so the days leading up to your past life regression or even the day off. This might help you to clear your mind. And if you’re not a meditator, no problem at all, make some time beforehand to go for a nice relaxing walk, or perhaps just shut off your phone the evening before. Anything to create silence and space to calm your mind is beneficial. The emptier your mind the better.

Avoid junk food & junk TV

Whenever you are preparing for a spiritual session, whether it be a regression or a reiki session or a group meditation, it is always a good idea to eat clean and healthy foods a couple days prior. The same counts for the media you take in, be mindful what you watch or read because it directly affects your frequency. The cleaner your system the cleaner your energy, the easier it will be for you to connect to the realm within.

Have Time Afterwards for Yourself

If you can, it’s the best thing to have no appointments after the regression. You might have a lot of things to process so it will be most beneficial to have some space and time to yourself to do so.

What is the Higher Self ?

The Higher Self is a part of your soul that didn’t incarnate into your body. Basically your soul exists of two different parts. The part that is incarnated, the lower self, goes from lifetime to lifetime to learn through experience.

The Higher Self is the all-knowing, all-loving part of us that stands outside of space and time and is non-physical. The Higher Self knows you better than you know yourself, it knows all about your past lives and it also knows what plan we made before coming into this life; what lessons we wanted to learn and with whom, what karma to work out. It wants us to succeed in this plan, and therefore it’s in constant communication with us. Your Higher Self communicated to you through your intuition. We all have this connection, and it cannot be broken.

But because in our every-day life so much of our attention is focused externally, this internal connection tends to fade to the background. The longer your to-do list, the more media you consume, the busier you make yourself, the harder it will be to be in connection to your Higher Self. Of course there are many ways for us to turn this around, and this might look different from person to person. For some meditation helps to establish this inner connection, for others it might be going into nature, or being creative. And then of course there is QHHT past life regression, where we get to create a strong direct communication to your Higher Self and get to ask is whatever questions or topics you want insight into.

When we allow the guidance of our Higher Selves into our lives, everything becomes so much more blissful, natural and joyful. Because you are realigning yourself with the part that loves you more than anything.

What happens in the session when we connect to our Higher Self?

Whatever life you will be shown in a past life regression, is whatever life your Higher Self wants you to see. Your Higher Self knows you better than you know yourself, and loves you unconditionally. And your higher self knows exactly what is the most appropriate life for you to re-experience, and therefore it will never show you more than you can handle. Your Higher Self wants to inspire you, stimulate you and help you move forward. Never have I experienced a person experiencing a life that blocked them or confused them or made them anxious, it’s quite the opposite. You will see exactly what it is that you are supposed to see. How many session do I need to do?

Generally people only need one session. It happens that people come back after some months or even years when their lives have drastically changed and they have a whole new set of questions.

What is past life regression?

In a past life regression, you get to relive your past lives. The technique I use during a past life regression is called QHHT. Which stands for Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique. This technique allows me to guide you through one or more past lives and learn the lessons from that life. At the end of the regression, I call forward your Higher Self and we get to ask it any questions you want. Therefore I always ask my clients to prepare a list of questions prior to the session. You can ask questions about anything. There is no such thing as a weird question, or a question that’s too abstract or too specific, follow your gut and write whatever questions come to mind. Which past life am I going to see?

Your Higher Self picks the life you will see in the session. It will take you to the most appropriate time and place to explain the issues/happenings in your life. Often the life you see will have lots of synchronicity between your current life issues, patterns or relationships.

It will show you scenes relevant to your questions, and show you what you need to do in order to move forward in life. You can be shown scenes from your early childhood, other times and places, or even abstracts to explore. The Higher Self chooses the scenes and they are always very relevant to what is happening in your life at this moment.

Will I be completely out of consciousness during my session?

Not at all! You will still have a level of awareness during your regression and are very much in control of your own behaviour and of what you are saying. It is almost as though you are at the two places at the same time. Plus you can still filter what you say.

Do you have to believe in reincarnation for a regression to be successful?

Not at all. I have guided people to see their past lives even when they don’t personally believe in reincarnation. You only need to have an open heart, be curious, and be willing to learn.

Where will the session take place?

What if I don’t have a past life?

For us to be incarnated into human form means that we have likely had many past lives already. You see before you incarnate as a human you have been through many different life forms. My teacher Dolores Cannon describes that we all first start as an elemental (gas, clouds, minerals, rocks) then we move into the life forms of plants, trees, mountains, then we grow into small animal and insect life to bigger species, to eventually grow into beings with more and more awareness. So you will definitely will have had different past lives, maybe as human, or as a completely different species.

What if I can’t be hypnotised?

The hypnosis being used in past life regression is actually a natural kind of hypnosis. You are in and out of this hypnotic state every day of your life. You are in it right before falling asleep, right before waking up. But you are also in it when you are watching a screen for longer than a couple minutes, or reading a book. You see all that hypnosis really means is a focused state of concentration. Instead of having your awarensss 360 degrees all around you, you focus in on 1 thing. And with your eyes closed, and the right guidance you can open doors that you didn’t even know existed. Everybody can do this.

How many sessions do I need?

You will only need one 1:1 past life regression. Within the one session we will go over all the things that are happening in your life right now and you will get clarity and direction throughout the session on what to do and how to understand the things that are happening in your life.

Some people want a second session but this is usually quite a while after their first regression experience.

Can I bring a friend or relative with me to the session?

You might have a curious friend or family member that might want to come to your 1:1 past life regression session. Unfortunately no guests are allowed during the 1:1 session. It is an option though to participate together in the Group Regression Workshop.

Will I see a past life that scares me?

How long is a 1:1 Past Life Regression?

A 1:1 past life regression takes anywhere from 5 to 6 hours. But sometimes also longer. I have my whole day just booked for the session, it’s best for you to also have nothing planned afterwards to allow you to process and integrate the regression afterwards. My group regression workshops take 3 hours.

Can I go back to my regular work after the session?

You can if you want to although I highly recommend you not to. For many it takes some time to process what has just happened. It could be that you feel very relaxed and refreshed after the regression but most people actually feel tired and need some time to rest and do absolutely nothing. Go into nature, ground yourself, eat something. I always recommend to create some time of silence and nothingness after the session. Especially the day of the session, but if you can, even the days afterwards. You will be very intuitive after the session and therefore it is quite likely that more information flows to you the days after. So the more space you have for that, the better.

Is hypnosis safe?

Completely safe. Hypnosis is a technique where you are always conscious and in control.  A hypnosis session is more like a vivid daydream. Most people are not aware that they actually go into a self-hypnotic state throughout the day - every day. The trance-like feelings you experience while working on your computer, driving, reading a book, watching TV or a movie or daydreaming are all states of trance characterised by focused attention. You will be able to hear everything around you but the sounds will not bother you, similar to how we tend to tune out the sound of crickets on a warm night or planes flying overhead; they just become part of the background. Each person’s experience is unique but they leave feeling very relaxed and feeling great afterwards.

What is the best way to prepare for my session?

Drink lots of water, eat healthy foods and don’t drink any coffee in advance. The more meditation and grounding you do before a session, the better. Also, approach it with an open mind with no expectations. Like anything, as soon as you release yourself from any expectations from a pending experience, it has the opportunity to pleasantly surprise you as it unfolds. See more info on how to prep here.

What can I expect to feel after the session?

This varies widely from person to person. Most people feel relaxed and need to use the toilet more than usual. It’s not unusual to feel tired a little while after the session, as you might have a lot of new information to process. It’s also very likely for more information and insights to come to you after the session for a couple of days. So pay close attention to your intuition. Your intuition might come through in thoughts, ideas, or dreams. Acknowlegde what comes in and perhaps even write it down.

What’s best to do after the my regression?

It’s best to create as much space for yourself as possible. So don’t have any appointments after your regression. Allow yourself some down time to process your session. Other tips are:

  • Drink plenty of water

  • Eat fresh and grounding food

  • Have some silence and space to reflect and do nothing

  • Journal

  • Take your shoes off in nature and connect to earth

  • Be grateful toward your Higher Self

How to take care and integrate after the session

You just had your past life regression, very likely lots of information and insights came your way. So now it’s time for reflection, processing and integration. Read the following tips to help you with this.

Drink Water & Eat Fresh Food

As you received this stream of information from your regression, it’s best to get things flowing inside as well. Water will help you get grounded again and come back to the 3D world. Nurture your system by eating healthy grounding foods. The higher self always recommends to eat foods that are alive, like vegetables and fruits.

Create Mental Space

Don’t take in more information from other possible channels. If you can; don’t watch TV, limit your phone use and don’t get online. Your mind is full and it’s best to allow yourself to fully soak up all the information and energy you received in your regression. Instead of looking at your devices, go for a walk, stare at the sky for a while or simple relax at home.

Take a Rest

It’s very common for people to have a nap or a sleep after the session. Allow yourself to calm down and be kind to yourself. Don’t overextend yourself by meeting others or even sharing right away what has happened. There will be time enough for all of that later. For now, just take care of you.

Journal

Jotting your experience down on paper can be very helpful. Not only does this help with the integration and sinking in of what had just happened, it also allows for your intuition to speak through you in more detail. Especially writing with a pen and paper (as oppossed to typing) can bring about a flow of intuitive messages. Your hand and arm are directly connected to your heart center, and the time it takes to write manually is the perfect time for your intuition to plant more insights.

Connect to the Earth

Earthing is one of my very favourite tools in my toolbox. All that it means is taking off your shoes and making a skin to earth connection. You can do this wherever you are, it could be in your backyard, a nearby park or a forest for instance. The results are almost instant, you will feel all your senses calming down and aligning with the natural rhythms of mother earth, and these rhythms are much much slower than the ones of society. Be Grateful Towards Your Higher Self

Now the session is over, your ego mind will be back in the playing field, and it will try to convince you that the session was not successful, or that you maybe made it all up, or that the healing is too good to be true. The way to bypass these limiting thoughts is to simply be grateful for your higher self, and for the session your Higher Self created. By simply expressing gratefulness, you automatically accept the wonders that came about in your session. The mind can be a wonderful tool, as long as we use it wisely. ;)

Be Present to Your Intuition

Just because the session is over doesn’t mean that the door to your higher self is now closed. You are still in a very receptive state, so be mindful of that. Likely more information, thoughts, ideas or epiphanies will come your way. Acknowledge these and write them down, as they might disappear as fast as they came. The more space you create for yourself, the more this steady stream of information can unfold.

Don’t Let Your Conscious Mind Fool You

It’s very common for you to doubt the validity of what has happened during the session. Many people come out of the session and their minds are causing restlessness and spreading feelings of doubt and confusion. The reason for that is that your mind likes to believe it’s the only source of wisdom and insights, as soon as you gain new information and understanding from a different source (in this case your past lives and higher self) it will try to discredit it. This is very common and your conscious mind will do that almost automatically. No worries, this feeling will subside over time and especially after you’re listening back to your recording. The way you feel while listening to your recording will bring about a sense of peace and knowing.

BACK TO HOME

Listen to Your Audio Recording

Some people like to review their recording the same week, some people wait a little longer. Do what feels right to you but make sure to listen to your recording, there will likely be big chunks of information in there that you didn’t pick up consciously during your session. So there will be a lot of golden nuggets in there! Another lovely side note, whenever you listen back to your recording, you again open the door to your higher self and your intuition. So again you’ll be more receptive to its messages and inspiration.
